This week I’ve continued writing about my Supernatural Social Workers setting on my Mastodon Profile.
I’ve started focusing less on facts of the setting and more on creating some of the characters and organizations that exist in the setting.
Like last week, I’m going to make the recap more interesting by adding photos from an Ohio city to add a little local color to the post. This week, Akron will be the city standing in for Bookerfield. Though, contrasting with last week, I’ve started looking each day for a picture that matches each post, and have been including them on Mastodon as well.

Community Access to Special Care couldn’t function without their Chief Executive organizing all the little parts that keep the doors open, the lights on, and the funding coming from people who’d scoff if they heard mention of Lycanthropy or Vampirism.

Down the street from the offices of Community Access to Special Care is a coffee shop where a lot of the actual business in planning and negotiating CASC’s provided services happens.
The workers are also a great source of information about what’s going on around town, after all, people talk.

Bookerfield, Ohio is a mid-sized city, formerly very industrialized though the past couple of decades have been pretty hard. The local supernatural community has most liked the cheap rents, given that some of their conditions make gainful employment difficult. Things have been turning around recently.
